The incompatibility of taste is inevitable in a world where differing pressures consume us all. Whereas, in the 1900s, these symmetrical concrete and wooden designs may have appealed most to those seeking an escape from tradition and luxury, today, they more suit those looking to escape tradition yet attract a contemporary minimalist luxury.
